Prompt #28 (Jul 9-Jul 15): "Fast" - Franz Arnold Ericsson
In 1952, Franz Arnold died in an auto accident on his way to an antique show in Chicago. Could he or another driver have been driving too carelessly or too "Fast"?
It would not be until 1959 that the Volvo engineer, Nils Bohlin, developed the modern three-point seat belt. . U.S. manufacturers were not required to install seatbelts until 1964 and those were only lap belts for the front seat. Could a seatbelt have possibly saved him?
