The "Caerulea" of the Polytechnic High School 
Long Beach, California

My question was "CAERULEA". Why is that the name of the yearbook, what does that mean?

So my friend Google says...

"Caerulea is the Latin word for "sky blue". It is often used as a specific epithet in scientific names for plants and animals that have blue coloring, such as the Nymphaea caerulea (Egyptian blue water lily) and Passiflora caerulea (blue passionflower)."

Well, that didn't help, did it?
