52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks - #6 - "Social Climber" - Anna Lovisa Andersdotter

Prompt #6 (Feb 5-Feb 11): "Social Climber" - Anna Lovisa Andersdotter

Anna Lovisa was born to my great great grandparents Anders Larsson and Stina Jansdotter of Tjällmo, Sweden. It was a very poor family with nine children to feed. I imagine that the future for a female from a poor family could be quite grim. Anna Lovisa had one card to play.  She was a beauty. At 16 Anna Lovisa married a man of much higher social standing, Carl Ludwig Theodor Bruzelius, a lawyer. He was almost twice her age, which left her a widow at the young age of 30. She never remarried. She didn't have to. She had a comfortable life and 9 lovely children.

From Amy Johnson Crow, a genealogist, far more experienced then I. "The data that we've accumulated in our genealogy software and in our binders and folders doesn't do a whole lot of good just sitting there. We need to do something with it." Each week she sends out a prompt to share a bit about an ancestor, collateral relative, or family friend.
