Christmas Day 1832

Christmas Day, 190 years ago, my great great grandfather, Edvard Julius Abrahamsson was born. December 25, 1832 Carl Abrahamsson and his wife Maja welcomed twins. Edvard Julius and his sister Lovisa Juliana were born.

To be sure that was a very Merry Christmas for the Abrahamsson Family.

I wish his many many descendants, all my cousins,
now scattered across Europe and North America...

Just a peculiarity about the names of the twins born on Christmas day.

As Christmas is jul in Swedish, pronunced very much like yule, both children received middle names pertaining to jul: Edvard Julius and Lovisa Juliana.
I love that. To me it's both humoristic and beautiful!
